We don’t have family here to help us, and when I found Lou-Ann, and we talked, I knew she was a perfect fit. She is kind, caring, intentional, listens well, genuinely cares about the health and well-being of both me and my child, and overall was such a calming presence. Postpartum has been difficult. This is my first baby. I did not know what to expect, but I know I was exhausted. Her presence allowed me to do some things that helped take care of "me" and offered me an opportunity to collect myself, rest, and recover to be a better mom for my newborn.
