Birth Doula

Birth doula support that's designed to carry you through with preparation before labor, steady presence during birth, and thoughtful care in the early days after delivery. Because parenthood isn't a single event.

Birth support ideally begins well before labor and continues through your early postpartum days. Here’s an overview of what my birth support typically includes:

Do I need a doula?

Ask yourself: do you—

✓ Want to enter birth feeling calm, supported, and not alone?

✓ Want your partner to feel confident supporting you?

✓ Want step-by-step guidance for each stage of labor?

✓ Want to explore pain coping strategies?

✓ Want space to be cared for, not just cared about, in the early days after birth?

If you answered “YES” to any of these, a skilled, compassionate doula can give steady support and practical help you might not know you need.

If my fees are a barrier, please contact me — everyone who wants a doula should have one.

Common Questions:

  • I am currently a birth doula in training with Doula Trainings InternationaI (DTI). I also bring my lived experience as a mother of two, certified childbirth educator & mentor training (Birthing from Within), certified breastfeeding specialist designation, and most importantly, my passion to serve new families.

  • If I am ill, have an emergency, or am otherwise unable to make your birth, I will have a backup doula attend in my place. You have the opportunity to meet the backup before your birth, a meeting that you can coordinate directly.
